A resident of South Brevard since 1984, I am a Software Engineer with 15 years of service with Harris Corporation. I have previously started and operated a small business with stores in Palm Bay, Melbourne and Rockledge.

I am a graduate of Ukarumpa High School in Ukarumpa, Papua New Guinea and LeTourneau University in Longview, TX. I have also done graduate studies at The George Washington University in Washington, DC and taught both full time and part time at Brevard Community College in Melbourne.

While this would be my first experience in government service I have worked with other candidates for office locally and been involved with local government issues as a citizen, speaking with officials and other concerned citizens and attending hearings and meetings. My experience as a small business owner, property owner and manager has given me experience in working with people and their concerns and also assists in understanding budget choices and issues that affect a broad segment of the community

My wife Diane is a native of Melbourne, we were married in 1986. We have three children, our oldest recently started attending the University of Central Florida in Orlando and the two younger attend school locally. I have lived in South Brevard since 1984 and am a member of the First Baptist Church of Melbourne.

Diane and I searched extensively for what we thought was the best location for our long term home before finally choosing to buy and build in Valkaria, where we were attracted to the natural surroundings, quiet small town atmosphere, peace and privacy. I built our home as an owner builder, a great experience. We have wonderful neighbors and appreciate the small town values, where people pull together both in good times and in times of need, like the recent fires some of us were threatened with.

I enjoy outdoor activities, boating, family activities, pets and travel.
